Presentation College San Fernando’s Chemistry Lab has been a part of the educational experience for thousands of students, spanning decades. 

Many will remember the first time they lit a bunsen burner, or performed a chemical reaction under the supervision of the teachers. Others would have had the seed planted that led to a successful career in quality control, environmental management, forensics and education, to name a few.

Over the years, time and use took its toll on the facilities of the Chemistry lab, meaning that the quality of the hands-on experience was compromised. 

Following the refurbishment of the Biology labs, the PSA saw the need for Presentation College to continue to maintain the highest standards of education in all spheres – supported by high-quality facilities. To this end, the PSA undertook the project to refurbish the Chemistry Lab during the July-August Vacation period in 2025.

The works saw the Chemistry lab fitted with upgraded workstations, improved lighting, and the repair of any and all non-functional fixtures – on time and under budget, for the beginning of the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
